History:
Pimpalner was a taluka place in Dhule district during the British period. However, due to heavy rainfall and forest area, the city was not convenient for communication, so the taluka location was shifted to Sakri. After the Gram Panchayat of Pimpalner city was converted into a municipal council, Pimpalner city has been converted into a taluka.
Geography:
Pimpalner city is a unique city because it does not come in Khandesh Baglan and Dang. It is an intermediate city on the border of Khandesh Baglan and Dang. The Panzara river flows through it, originating from Shendwad Manjari, passing through Latipada Dam, and further meeting Akkalpada Dam.
Culture:
Pimpalner is a religious village where all Hindu festivals are celebrated with grandeur. The most popular festival for Pimpalner residents is Ganesh Utsav, which has a unique flavor in the village. During Ganesh Utsav, there is (Yatra and Namsaptah) in Pimpalner. (Namasaptah) is a tradition and culture of Pimpalner town and has been celebrated since the year 1829. During Namasaptah, village (Song), i.e., avatars of various gods and demons, dance and act on the famous instrument tambourine (Duff).
